Unfiltered Truth
Moving past the Sunday morning mask to find God in the Tuesday afternoon chaos.

“I spent my career chasing titles and the approval of others, only to realize the only title I needed was ‘Christ follower’—and the only one I needed to answer to was Christ.”
It started with a life that looked perfect on paper but felt empty in practice.
Mitch wasn’t looking to start a ministry. In 2019, he was just looking for an exit—from a life that looked perfect on paper but felt empty in practice.
He had climbed the corporate ladder, checked the boxes, earned the titles… only to realize the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall.
What began as a few honest thoughts—scribbled in the margins of daily planners and tucked into emails to his wife, Lisa—slowly turned into something more. Because Mitch wasn’t chasing success anymore. He was searching for transformation. Less of himself. More like Christ. Right in the middle of real life—the messy, imperfect, very human kind.
It’s about the messy, beautiful, and sometimes downright hilarious reality of trying to follow Jesus when you still mess up… a lot.
It’s about moving forward—one step at a time. Yes, sometimes that means taking a step or two backward. But it also means getting back up, grabbing the hand of Christ, and continuing the walk.
No perfection. Just progress, grace, and a bunch of knuckleheads learning as they go.
“Christian Knuckleheads was born out of that tension. It’s not about having all the answers. It’s not about polished faith or pretending to have it all together.”
